   Success Stories to Celebrate!

   Last week we gathered to Celebrate the Success of the families we serve and our 20th Anniversary, raising more than $225,000 in critical funds to support programs and services for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin candidly shared her personal story of abuse as a child and later as an adult from an intimate partner.

She talked about how people in her life were like "pegs," such as those found on a rock-climbing wall, that helped her climb higher and higher when she thought all was lost.
