We were so thrilled to welcome over 250 guests this year at Celebrating Success! Though the forecast showed clouds, we ended up with beautiful weather, and the night itself shone brightly with hope, inspiration, and incredible generosity.
After mingling with each other and enjoying tasty bites, as well as our signature cocktail – The Second Step Spritzer – we heard members of our community share why the mission of The Second Step is important to them.
One of the highlights of the night was debuting our video, Survivor Voices. We are incredibly grateful to Julianne, Kate, and Maria for sharing their stories with us.
Thank you to all who contributed to the success of the event. We exceeded our $50,000 match, raising over $100,000 throughout the night and almost $300,000 overall in support of survivors.
With your support, we can continue to provide life-saving services to our clients. As Kate powerfully stated in her testimonial,
“What they do isn’t just [provide] a safe place,they completely rebuild people.”
We can’t do this work without you. You help us provide resources for our clients that allow them to rebuild themselves and their lives – free from abuse.
