Ashley Ott, member of The Second Step’s Board of Directors, and Tyler Ott, Long Snapper for the Seattle Seahawks, have generously partnered with local artist Julianne Strom Brill to decorate Tyler’s cleats on behalf of The Second Step. As part of the NFL’s My Cause, My Cleats fundraiser, Ott will auction his cleats and all proceeds will go to The Second Step.
You can see Tyler and his cleats when the Seahawks go up against the Los Angeles Rams on December 8th at 8:20pm EST. Our Board of Directors is on a mission to spread safety for survivors and will MATCH UP TO $25,000 for all gifts received by game day!
A graduate of Harvard University, Tyler started his NFL career as a member of the New England Patriots. Tyler is currently entering his third season as the Long Snapper for the Seattle Seahawks. He resides in Milton, MA with his wife Ashley, who is a long-time supporter and Board Member of The Second Step. The Otts’ interest in The Second Step is fueled by disturbing domestic violence trends in the United States.
The need is great. Last year’s domestic violence census recorded 9,183 requests for services in a single day that could not be provided because programs lacked the resources to meet victims’ needs. Your contribution helps local organizations like ours close this gap.
Step up with Ashley, Tyler, and our Board to give the gift of safety for survivors in our community.
