February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month!
Did you know that 26% of women and 15% of men who were victims of contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime first experienced these or other forms of violence by that partner before age 18 (CDC)?
The Second Step can help. Follow the links below for more information about teen dating violence and resources for talking to friends and family.
The Second Step also offers support groups for young men and women who have been exposed to DV and are at heightened risk of repeating violent and controlling behaviors. For more information, contact Joe LaMarca, Youth Advocate: firstname.lastname@example.org | (857) 919-1185.
